This role is an excellent opportunity for an ecologist or environmental professional with site experience who thrives in dynamic environments, working directly alongside contractors and project teams to deliver environmentally responsible construction projects.

  • Assisting with survey planning and project coordination.
  • Supporting the development and implementation of Construction Environmental Management Plans (CEMPs).

  • Strong health and safety awareness.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Experience in consultancy or construction-related environments.

While not essential, the following would be advantageous:

  • Protected species survey experience.
  • CSCS accreditation.

Day-to-Day

Your day-to-day activities will involve a mix of site supervision, environmental compliance monitoring, and ecological support. You will work closely with contractors and project teams to ensure that construction activities align with environmental best practices and legal requirements. This role will require regular travel to project sites across Scotland, offering a dynamic and varied work environment.

This position offers a range of benefits, including:

  • Flexible and hybrid working arrangements to support work-life balance.
  • The opportunity to work on major renewable energy and infrastructure projects.
