We have a new freelance ecology requirement supporting the management of ash dieback affected trees across 26 National Highways locations in the North West, predominantly around Manchester and Liverpool .
The project is due to start on 12 October and is expected to run for approximately three weeks .
The Work
You’ll be supporting tree management works by:

Identifying ecological constraints associated with ash dieback works

Undertaking Preliminary Ecological Appraisals (PEAs)

Completing Ground Level Tree Assessments (GLTAs)

Producing the associated ecological reports
-
Working alongside the wider project and highways teams
Essential Requirements
You must hold:
- National Highways Passport
- CSCS
- Safety Critical Medical
Previous experience working on highways projects and undertaking PEA / GLTA work would be highly beneficial.
